So they gave them a little bit of false information, learned humans want to destroy them (which they already knew), and now an investigator is suspicious of them. Touka, you’re an idiot. This was a useless endeavor.

I mean it is kind of justified that Humans want to exterminate Ghouls. They are, after all, a pretty large threat like no other species on the planet. The only thing that makes it seem like Ghouls are “just like us” is their appearance. They don’t seem to have the same emotions as humans do. At least not when it comes to “cannibalism”, empathy, and killing people. There sure might be some outliers but it is a fact that Ghouls are hard-wired to consume human flesh. Making them a threat however bad they actually are
