Should just power level. He has a really strong familiar and another getting really strong. Besides if he wants dragon scale armor better he gets good with fighting than waiting.
Besides his magic would improve along with his level. and at least have a goal of being strong as Sui if not stronger.
Probably will end up sayign the same at the end of the manga chapters that are up
