Tondemo Skill De Isekai Hourou Meshi - Chapter 7

A few odd concepts:

1. To have a Fenrir
2. To name said Fenrir. Not giving it a nickname, a name.
3. Same as the concept of pegassi (as in more than one Pegasus)

So why do I say it’s odd. Image you have a friend. And that friend is named Steve Miller.
And somehow he gets famous.
A few dozen years later someone tells stories about the race Stevemillers and named one of them Carl.

Or image a story where one person has a Jesus named John. One of many Jesuses, who all can walk on water, heal the sick, and turn water into wine.

If your brain just got kinks from reading that: Welcome! That’s how anybody feels who knows anything about Pegasus and Fenrir.

Pegasus was the name of a (mythical) winged horse. It wasn’t even related to any other winged horse and it’s name was derived from the place it supposedly was born. It sprung to life from the blood of a slain monster. … Ancient Greeks, am I right? They were smoking the good stuff.

Though, almost all cultures who had horses, or came into contact with them dreamed up winged horses, some even were supposedly races, and one of those even got named Ethiopian Pegasus. A species (race) of two horned winged horses. Medieval guys, even scholars, had no idea how biology worked.


Fenrir was a wolf. A special wolf with the name(!) Fenrir!

Meet Steve, I named him Carl.
Meet Fenrir, MC named him Fel.
