I have a beef with this chapter, and a big one. Whe whole lecture about the expanding universe and all that just feels forced and totally unnecessary, since Nasa already knew, maybe not in the details, but surely the gist of it. So instead of all this science babbling all it would take was something like:
“You’re not a human, are you? I may not remember, but I’m not stupid and I saw enough to know that much. And you know what? I don’t care. No matter what you are, I want you by my side forever. I fell in love in you knowing nothing about you and that won’t change no matter what I’ll learn. Tell me what I promised you that day and I’ll promise it again, no matter what it is. Just stay.”
But maybe it’s just me. Don’t mind me,
