The scene where Tsubakiri gets defeated is my favorite scene in the anime
Its not just actually power of friendship, if you dig deeper it also includes responsibility, word of honor, empathy, hope, self realization and goals. The sudden burst of power comes from a situation that pushes him to be stronger, just like in reality adrenaline rush makes us superhuman for few minutes or seconds. So I believe this scene is reasonable and rational.
The Power of Kishin is plot armor for the Oni Race. It comes out when they are extremely oppressed.
Too bad Tsubakiri didn’t catch fire too.
All the other kids avoiding MC’s fight area for sure, since you can’t miss all these explosions and yelling.
