She’s dead wrong. The point is to SAVE more hostages. Hoaqim will go straight for Bam and try to kill him or keep him busy and not bother with his own, and if he doesn’t save any he loses. Not to mention the wildcard of the ‘Other’ sibling, who seems to favor Bam more.
