Kind of wish the author never went on that break. but since he already did, at least he shouldn’t have read other manhwas. Cause this is becoming more like the normal manhwas we read. The idea used to be so different, so much that a lot of manhwas were kind of clones of this one. With the whole tower thing. Yeah, including solo leveling. The idea mostly started from this one, among manhwas.
In those chapters, the author repeatedly showed us, how weak the mc was, even though he actually wanted the power to change everything. And how he learnt each skill, little by little. And built himself up, and most of the times, he couldn’t fight because the people he had to fight against were far above his level.
There was a clear hierarchical structure between the regulars (A to E or so), Rankers, Advanced Rankers and High Rankers. Even when the Family heads appeared, they seemed almost godlike… compared to advanced/high rankers. I personally don’t know exactly where it went wrong, but one thing is for sure. It’s changed a lot, and not in an “evolutionary sense”. It’s more like a different story.
