You could say its nuanced enough. Human psychology and emotion is irrational.
He’s become jaded after centuries. I get it. But Ive seen SOOO many anime characters follow this same template and archtype
You may as well dress him up in a japanese middleschool oufit and put him in the classroom.

ahhh i understand why traumerei beheaded enkidu, and why traumerei want gustang to go together to asking regarding that case with him. so that he can control enkidu
Now that’s an interesting plot twist, I like it 
I don’t understand why enkidu lies about that
this makes more sense, ain’t no way that creature would killed her in front of him. he is too powerful for that; i even think she was more powerful than enkidu in the first place
