It has been said that “the love of money is the root of all evil.” But truthfully, it’s not so much the love of money…the true root of all evil is arrogance.
Arrogant people do unseemly and unjustifiable things to those around them because they think they are better than others. I see it all the time in comments sections everywhere.
Whats the point of the association if guilds get to make rules who will be pro hunter ? The greed of the guilds is more important then the survival of there human race as it seems
Association President is not helping just because he is kind. Rather, he is helping because it benefits him. The Association presides over ALL hunters; including the strongest. MC’s benefits are the Association’s benefits. In the end, the Association is already at the immovable peak of the world order – to see a talent grow is a benefit, not a hindrance.

this guy isn’t one of those corrupted characters that are like “if we let the protagonist progress, they will turn into either a god or a demon that will rule the world. it will be a problem if they steal the spotlight from everyone else so we might as well cut them off here and we’re going to lose our pride and money” or something.
