I personally like how she was also corrupted, even if slightly predictable, and it’s cool how it was tied down as her own thoughts too, just the devil breaking the dam. MC wouldn’t get any more progress if he even tried in a different way before this happened and it expands upon the plot a bit more. The only thing I’m upset about is that the chapter ended

Sorry, not sorry author, but if you wanted me to empathize with this scenario and the soul saint then you shouldn’t have made this scene appear when I wanted carnage.
I just skipped like 80% of the chapter I don’t plan on ever going back to read it.
This whole scenario is dumb, could have all been avoided. Just a waste of time
