Why wouldn’t he train or learn martial arts if he’s trying to get stronger and have a strong sense of self preservation?? Doesn’t make sense just relying on a shield.

i would like to point out that the “spoiler comment” is just saying MC is gonna make the dragon his pet, and that the TITLE IMAGE, the cover of this manga is the MC with a baby dragon……………….seems like him getting a dragon pet was inevitable.
