I guess that for Rembrandt’s daughters, who cared so much about their looks and reputation, their time suffering from the curse was like an eternal hell, so because the MC saved them from their curse (acquiring the ingredients, preparing the antidote, and even gently-but-firmly restraining them while it was administered), they feel that they owe him a life debt that they can only pay off by being his first/second wives.
