The people who are upset he didn’t kill the dude missed something. I mean the MCs personally from the very beginning is I want to help humanity no matter what. He literally prayed to god for a skill any skill no matter how useless to help people, and then he did try with the useless skill to help even though everyone said he should or could not. Also all the times he used his monster form in front of people for their sake. It be incredibly out of character to kill the guy.
