I like it that the manga decided to go with something different other than the classic Skeleton>Ghoul/Zombie>Vampire evolutions. Not that they’re wrong since vampire are basically high tier undead but it’s still nice to see a change
Its not a perfect manga, but nice to read the plot.

wright to ghoul makes sense both are undead. Ghoul to shapshifter makes no sense at all.
