Well…progress. Riftan didn’t blow up at her or say any nonsense like she should never had come. He discussed some uncomfortable things from his past. Which she asked about (likely took a little courage on her part). She didn’t break down or play the helpless woman.
Good progress between them, hope it continues.

They get more wholesome the more they travel. Riftan seems to realize that she’s not so feeble after all.. she’s capable of taking the physical strain of the journey and he seems to grow to respect her more. She on the other hand fells for him more and more actively seeking him out and that’s something he’d appreciate more than she may realise.. sadly his reaction of her being cuddling up to him wasn’t shown.
