That’s why I love her. That’s a goblin. The most basic monster. A Knight would surely have no trouble dealing with it. But Maxi is no Knight. She’s a noble lady with no military training. So that’s a big deal for her. Not to mention she’s been made fun of and belittled all her life. So imagine her self worth and feeling of adequacy.
So… marrying Riftan would be a jackpot for any lady in her shoes. Married to a hunk, with his own fief, ample resources and who’s a war hero. She could just look pretty and laze around all day.
