here’s my observation. I have a guy best friend who is wholesome like Riftan, and kinda intimidating lol. But I think that he already knows of her life at the Croyoso castle bc of her timidity and desire to be ‘important’. To him, she’s not a source, he’s a treasure that he wants to protect. He’s just very intense about it because is rough around the edges.
