Honestly the authors understanding of stuttering and talking as if, it’s something you can overcome with practise was really infuriating. Yes, to some degree, through practise it can become easier to express yourself, however there’s no way to train away a stutter. Most children overcome it by 5yo, but there’s no guarantee even with speech therapy.
