Its even sadder when you realize that the reason he treats Hilse the way he does is because he blames the death of his first wife on his own child. Its really dumb and shows just how much he never really loved his wife, if he is willing to oust his daughter over a death from birth. I can imagine how disappointed Hilse’s mother would be if she were to see this entire situation that her daughters in, I know I would be pissed to learn that my daughter is being misstreated, and no less from her very own blood relatives.
