Although many people hate on Matahachi I like the way he serves as a very complex character, almost like the opposite of what Miyamoto represents, he is a coward and an impostor living a fake life, even though he is a very bad person I think that he is meant to represent a part of each and everyone of us that we are afraid of becoming, while having a good mc is good it is also important to have flawed characters to bring us back to earth.
