The young girl (rindo) wasn’t directly killed by musashi but after musashi gave baiken first aid and left, he had a change of heart and went back to finish him off. Apparently they’d already dieded by the time he came back so musashi counts this as a loss on his record.
But that’s too painful so i headcanon’ed that they were just sleeping and musashi came to his senses and left them alone.
