I like the comparison and contrast in how both Matahachi and Takezo have changed their identities. While Takezo renamed himself to pursue a newer purpose for life and change the way he acts, Matahachi stole someone’s identity to start over and lies of his reputation, I am still clinging onto hope that he can change for the better.
