This is a bit odd. The anime actually explains a lot more about what’s going on than the manhua. These aren’t spoilers, they’ve just been left out for some reason. For instance, the reason the family head guy hates Mo Fan and his family was because his daughter, who was mo fans childhood friend, wanted to run away from her home with Mo fan. They weren’t really going to runa away though, they were just kids after all, but they were caught, and the family head figured that Mo Fan had tried to abduct her. I assume that Mo Fan had gone along with that to protect her from he r father. Also, the rather large boobed Mu family girl who is a member of the hunter squad, doesn’t like Mo Fan because when he was younger, he and some other boys had spied on her when she was taking a bath. She had noticed someone watching, and the other boys had run off leaving him to carry the can. She was the only one she saw which is why she treats him like a pervert.
