One thing annoys me enormously, namely when tensions are built up, which then suddenly run into nothing, for example that it was first such a huge topic that his amulet charges itself with the souls of the monsters – but it didn’t help him at all, until he was at this water source and since then the amulet doesn’t play any role anymore. At some point, it helps him then sure all of a sudden to defeat an ultra heavy opponent, but if I can not / may not follow the process there as a reader, it honestly does not itch me more, I have to complement and work with my imagination more in the end and link than the author, this I feel as dishonorable and disgusting.
