Know what would be an interesting developement for hte story ? MC gives on his urges and ACTUALLY has consequences for it. He kills all the guys attacking him, and, in doing so, Screwdriver lowers his opinion on him and that taints their relationship, making them part ways for this part of the story. For a while MC gets the enemity of both villains and psykers.
Ah but we know MC is a super special snowflake and so, he cannot have true consequences for his actions.
