So he has a hidden skill that the eyeball has never heard of that lets him extract stones from weapons. Now the eyeball is an expert on what those stones properties will be and how they will affect him despite never having seen the ability before? How would it even know the stones are “weaker” than unprocessesed stones if noone else has ever extracted one? Plot hole.
