Everyone saying Thorfinn should be more aggressive have completely missed the point of this manga I feel… The whole thing is about how brutal and destructive war is… And people want Thorfinn to act like a “viking” it’s like saying german should act like nazies like wtf. (Godwin’s Law, I know ty.)
I think if the author is smart enough, this will be an arc of maturation. Avoidance of war and conflict at all costs is a childish notion. We’ve gone past his violence at every dispute. Balance is necessary.
who told the author that people will like this soft version of thorfinn, he is a viking and should act like one, he matured enough to be a threat to thorkell etc too bad the author choosed this path… mangas would have been better with action and thorfinn ruling over everything
