I have to completely agree with people saying it’s turned from great to poo.
It started off like a pretty decent isekai with good art (at least for the time when it was released).
Now the story moves like a snail, the plot is very linear and flat.
The characters are flat and uninteresting – even the ones that seemed to have held some hope in the beginning.
The art didn’t live up to the times. When it was being released it was good or even very good by the standards of the time, but today you’ve got numerous other series with way more eye pleasing graphic layout.
Also everyone suffers from the ‘same face syndrome’. Be it a young man or an old woman, they’re all the same person with different clothes put on. The body structure is more or less the same 99% of the time too, so nothing differentiates the characters from hair and eye colour.
You’ll literally force yourself to read this at some point. No excitement, no interest, no passion, just endless void of boredom.
I’m sad to write all of the above, but it is what it is. I’d give it 3/5 at best.
Was a must read, but turned into a disappointing mess the last 100 chapters.
The side characters that hooked you in the beginning turn more and more one dimensional props to make the mc look good or brilliant,
The enemy, dark heaven, is a joke that either fails all the time like team rocket or becomes ridiculously overpowered off screen without any notice (asspulls).
Getting cliche where a big battleground is happening but everyone involved has tunnel vision to what we see on the panels that they don’t even know <sinister baddie> sneaks up from behind.
…or team plans the “perfect trap” for.<sinister baddie> but then breaks out of the trap by doong some dumb hidden transformation (asspull) on them.
The author doesn’t know how to make cliche murim politics interesting (who cares, its just a reason to fight) or cooking up a big battle that makes sense. But he doubles down on the garbage, and makes it less of an isekai. Well people liked the love interests, the early character “friendship army” builduo, ridiculous powerups and treasure hunts from the first one.
All of that fades away by the 100th or so chapter.
Like any good washed up cliche, mc doesn’t choose abyone in his haren.
Starting this is a bmig mistake. 2.8/5
First 100ish chapters 4.7/5
I started this right before I found nano machine and return of the mount hua sect
and chronicles of the heavenly demon
this just kinda fell by the side.. might gonna pic it up since I have fond memories of reading it..
The perfect example of how to turn a great series into a bore
like my comment if i should give it a try
fine i will give it a try
Called it I knew it was coming back soon
IT’S BACK!!!
Is this drop?
I forgot about this one. Need to start over again.
I hear it comes back sometime this month hopefully it’s true
i wonder when will they post the rest
Very good. Just hope that MC ends up with Poison Phoenix. Best Waifu
The manhwa started out ok but became a mess when they introduced the Vietnamese lore mixed with historical and mythical figures and twisted the hell out of them and painted them as barbarians.
One of the first manhwa I have ever red. And it was simply amazing. I loved this story to bad i red it when it had such low chapters and didn’t wait. But I believe this show will age like wine.
