Dude almost got killed
Did no one else notice what science girl said. Not only was the elf who beat him a healer not an attack. All his stats grades are below A. While MC has 2 A stats still got washed. That Elf Uncle is scary.
But now on to the important part. Its time for a weapon upgrade. My guesses are either a Pole-arm like his dad, and axe for stronger swings, A halberd Because its a nice in-between for Pole Arm and Axe, or finally he switches to full katana.

so far so good.. already 17 chapeters in and the MC isn’t completely OP yet. sure he is good but room to improve and already lost a fight.
plot is also ok even though the world background is a bit far fetched, but at least the story line is ok. The conflicts are believable and I’m his father’s generation will get mixed in after some time. his dad got abandoned by his team so we can hope to see the MC getting some revenge for that.
