random tips for bugged translations:
- pronouns are usually wrong: you/me/I/he/she/him/her – select whichever one fits best, it usually makes sense if you do that. (infer from who’s speaking/who is being referred to)
- techniques (especially for wuxia/murim) the names are never the same, just remember what the original translation said or infer it from which character is using what.
- the tenses are often wrong, past/present/future
if you get desperate enough to read machine tl lightnovels, you eventually start understanding the nonsense lol
