So, did I get this right? This manhwa is rated 4.9 – almost masterpiece and the recent plot is: mc cannot win against gangsta and comes up with a completely random idea of inducing a emotional reaction in the gangsta to make him drop his guard to attack him. To drop the gangstas guard, he loops 10k (maybe less, if multiple tries each) times to find out the password, which could even be 5 digits (as mentioned by the mc) meaning 100k loops of about (at least) 5 min which add up to pretty exactly one year worth of time of always doing the same 5-min-routine?
Also, what’s up with that picture in the safe? I now it’s an important to the gangsta, but you’re telling me the gangsta bought a 50k $ safe (estimated from looks) to store one picture which is conveniently exactly where the mc is positioned and the mc concludes that this safe MUST be the one with the picture in it, since Cha Sirin saw the gangsta open this safe before?!?
Next, let’s talk about the gangstas retardness. Why would Cha Sirin only tell him now that she is her sister, when she had the chance before? There is no reason in existance for that. Why would she still have that picture and even carries it around with her? Where is there even space for that (huge) photo in the schoolgirl uniform to carry it around? Why does the gangsta so naive? If he really were to come from the slums, he should have a instinct for traps and lies.
And after mc induced an emotional reaction in the gangsta, he shouted before he attacked? Seriously?
If that level of story telling is to continue, I’m dropping it. Even leveling manhwas often have a more reasonable plot.

In any case, he didn’t have to do 10000 repetitions, as you normally have more than one attempt to enter a code into a safe.
I know that you have three attempts until it blocks and then you have to enter the other longer unlock code.

So, of all possible 4 digits combinations (assuming he tried 4 from the get-go), it was the very last… Either it was the shittiest of password or the MC had one crazy random seek algorithm… (btw, assuming he tried 1, 2 and 3 digits prior, it goes up to 10 + 100 + 1000 + 10k combinations, aka, 11110 choices, it’s still ridiculously unlucky as well as suggesting a nearly uniform password if done in order [like 0987]).
