I agree with what the person said below as well as I’d like to add that I love the fact that he felt down that there was no photos of him but he wen’t outside it was because they had already bought all the ones with him in it 
just makes me happy they even though they don’t know what Kang sacrifices for them, they genuinely enjoy being with him and he sees that.
As such mcs as this. They loose grip on reality and only try to fix the problem without actually their and is only rewarded with a deadly situation complete however in his case. He literally had no choice in where and how he looped. And this is a situation where he kinda realizes he’s fighting for them and himself to love a normal life. He’s fighting for his friends their families and their friends. In my books he’s more of a hero than the original mc 1000x over
If MC feels MC is doing this without any reward, MC can tell girls about it. MC can “predict” future many times, so they should believe MC.
