I have this thought sometimes.
Like when playing PoE2 and slashing through hundreds of foes – I am suddenly realizing, that I am the ancient evil, avatar of destruction and chaos. I am not executing revenge, not defending myself, not fighting for the greater good. I am just moving towards a goal while destroying everything in my way. I am not inherently on the good side – whatever ot may be. I am on “my side” – and everything else is thus deemed worthy of destruction.
