So he did make the herbs… but he’s really slow…

It’s almost like he didn’t have several DAYS worth of time to think about it.

Its strange, they are trying to make it so time both is and isn’t passing between panels…

Didn’t think about anything that can help till just now… but has also somehow been researching and practicing secretly?

But if he has been practicing herbs… then how the heck is he so suprised only now that they can help… as THOUGH he forgot he even had the herbing ability (like its showing us)

The author is basically having him eat a dry cake… underwater, and the cake crumbles and falls to the floor off his fork and hes like oh no!… then suddenly remebers underwater is wet… so somehow he eats an herb for waterbreathing & the cake still is dry because he ate the herb and they are going by looney toons physics… uh… what?
