You know it makes sense that they are turning ppl left to right to pull a coup.
They have a 5y span only.
If they were eternal they would select ppl carefully.
Ppl with wealth, power, skills and stay an underground society who ruled from the shadows.
Because ppl would want that power, I mean the government would want it, the health, regen, eternal youth etc but with the 5y limit it changes everything.
Nobody wants that.
So they need desperate ppl to be paws to stir up things to make purebloods come out of hiding or to grow powerfull and attract the ‘bloodgods’ attention so he would make them immortal
