White Dragon Duke: Pendragon - Chapter 116
Comments for chapter "Chapter 116"
He shouldn’t have trusted the dumb navy
Pride is a powerful poison
is it me or is the main character incompetent in the last few chapters? he was seen being a great warrior and leader, and now he’s making mistakes that even some guy off the street wouldn’t make? and he’s seemingly as strong as his valvas knight, despite it being said earlier that his power and aura was equivalent to the emperor, despite his old age. Is this suggesting that valvas knights are as powerful as the emperor or grandmasters? like, what was he thinking? you always have a backup plan, especially when you’re dealing with variables like pirates? I’m not sure about this, it’s gotten less about the main character’s goal for strength, revenge, and whatnot, and more towards revenge and politics. Personally, I’d like to actually see him training, or getting more stronger, as it seems he’s already at his limit somehow? He has a dragon by his command, would it not have been better to lure them close to the cove/lagoon and make use of that? I’m sure they have explosives as well, setting them off near those rocks and cliffs would’ve shocked and crippled the enemy. Getting the dragon to drop bombs or heavy equipment would’ve also worked. In the first few chapters the mc was intelligent, I think they’re trying to make up for that by making the mc make more mistakes?
This is such a great series, I wish the writers would get off their asses, most of the mistakes they’re making are so easy to fix, it’s not even an issue with time limits, I feel like the fixes would genuinely be easier to enact than creating entire plots around pirates and politics, no?
Bro trusted pirates.
Bro’s second life and still doesn’t know anything.

Setting all his men up to die just for the sake of his own pride is peak idiocy I can forgive him being wary of trusting MC as an angle, but dawg straight up throwing the plan away after a few words?
Please let him and that helmsman/right hand die they’re too stupid to be left in charge
