Wait, that story progression was nonsensical. What the f was the author thinking? The beginning of the chapter showed that there were another 5 mounted soldiers with the Duke when he attack3d – why did they just allow an enemy knight to attack their Duke? Also did the Duke just randomly sneak up to the enemy leader? How and why? Did the leader literally have no none of his troops around him to warn him about the MC coming? Finally, the retarded “chief knight” thought he had a chance – why not attack from the back, cuz as you remember there were at least 5 mounted knights on the MCs side (who did nothing and didn’t provide any support)..
It is so easy to fix this story it’s infuriating. MC shows up with his small group -> gets noticed by bandits-> before he starts his fight the chief knight kills 2 of his 5 teammates and attacks the MC-> he pushes him back towards the bandits -> the bandits work together with the knight to fight the MC -> the MC kills all of em.. it could also work without the chief knight killing 2 teammates (if they want him to survive, which it seems they do). This chapter was horribly written.

bruh this has never happened before, but i was just hit my a wave of sadness when seeing that mother being helpless as her child was being taken away. Like I usually never pay attention to other people dying, of all ages, but i imagined me and my mother in this state. and completely lost the plot. Idk, this has never happened before, but nevertheless this is a fuckin good manga!
