God I always hate these trope secondary lead characters. Like obviously we don’t know everything about them yet but you’re continuing to talk to someone who is very clearly annoyed by you. On top of that said person is in a way higher social class in a situation where said social class actually matters. Obviously, I’m not a writer. However, it feels like they ruin so much potential for character depth making them completely unable to read the situation or just unable to care.

Does the Duke litteraly have nothing to do all that hang around the streets all.
