I think I just figured out one of the problems with this series. Characters just sort of appear instead of getting actual introductions. It’s not just characters either, events just sort of happen out of nowhere too even the ones that are planned out.
I think my biggest issue though is that we’re only given one point of view, the MC’s point of view. The main problem with it is that its ONLY his point of view so we never actually see the events like Reese running off or them being summoned to her father. Instead all we get is the equivalent of a phone notification that Reese ran away and a time skip from the last chapter to the meeting with the father that we’ve never really discussed before. We only got one view away from the MC was when the siblings were attacked by those hired criminals.
I feel like it would have added more if we saw her leaving and knew what was going on in her head before it happened because it just felt like it came up out of nowhere.

Does the king’s backstory make sense?
The king left on a 10 year adventure and at the end if it he met Reese’s mother. Meaning he married the queen before or during the trip and had 3 kids with her.. while adventuring around… not exactly winning and father or husband of the year awards with that…
or is it that the 3 other childer of the king is actually the previous king’s kids and he took over paranting them when his brother died?
