Ok wait, so humans in the ‘game world’ already existed? Cuz here he’s saying they could’ve helped the ‘real’ world if they had lived but the gates haven’t even started opening yet. And if they are separate world humans why even help this whole different dimension (game helping real)?

Maybe they split up so that at least one of them can survive but failed so they died far distances away from each other and they were coming from the west to the east to save someone or get a valuable item that could help them kill the monsters and demons.

Maybe the tunnel demons got to them and that is why they split up and so on and forward. Deem the genius level of this dude can’t even plus 1 plus 1 together. What changed is the question. Well the change is already cause he travel back in time 10 years or so. The moment he arrived back in time a new timeline started as that should be already obvious to everyone as when you know what future holds you will change the future either you like it or not.
