The spaceship is overpopulated.. in 30 years.. So all the females already old and the kids already mature. Does the kids also have kids? Since 30 is over a normal marriage age on earth..

If this is ~24 hours after the zombie outbreak, isnt humanity pretty much already done for? How strong will the ghouls be after a month?
