So now the setting is that he never actually did the raid and just went by 2nd hand knowledge? Did the MC even play the game in the past? How far did he reach with the content? Wasn’t the setting that he was a gaming addict and the game slowly lost popularity, and that he had played the game for 15 years straight until he lost everything due to his gaming addiction?
No matter what, the storytelling doesn’t make sense if even the author forgot his own setting..
