Good grief…
This will sound ungrateful for a series that it so slow it’s almost dead…
The trope of having some inexperienced child leading an army is terrible.
It works for the MC because he is shown to be educated, experienced and decisive… but not for this chapter… particularly when the “anxious female leader” has already previously been shown to be calm under fire in previous chapters!
The pretence at panic this time doesn’t make sense.
I mostly like this series (despite the excessively slow updates)… but some of the slips into more infantile behavior are poor.
This series started with a more aggressive but calm and rational MC… perhaps the updates are so slow the author forgot this?
