Okay, so they both had that power? Then make each sister the master of the other sister, easiest fix of your life and would fix your life; also this makes the past chapters (with the 2 sisters) pointless.

So a guy on the run just couldn’t help himself to get involved in this and draw potential attention.
Then the “evil” slave merchant just couldn’t help himself to get into an argument with a guy two times his size and armed with a sword after yeeting away from 3rd rate bandits.
The “muh super evil” slave merchant supposedly groomed these two for 5 years and couldn’t catch a glimpse of their magical prowess.
AND FOR SAKE OF PETE, why would an experienced merchant get into this situation in the first place???????!!!!!!!
