for the confused ones i’ll explain the power scaling in this fight
cheonma ( the one who has the powers of the demon inside mc’s body ) is just below transcendence realm
u might think if cheonma is just below trancendence realm then cheonma + mc can defeat a trancendence realm master but thats not how power scaling works in cultivation
1 realm difference = big big difference
and the higher the stage the bigger the difference gets
for example if i say the stages are lvl 1 , lvl 2 ; lvl 3
the difference in strength between lvl 2 and lvl 3 will always be ridiculously greater than difference between lvl 1 and 2
there’s the cultivation difference and the other thing is that the cheonma guy is injured as well
so the fight which was already hopeless is even more hopeless now
well mc can reach almost peak cheonma lvl if he goes flow state
so in essence the fight is like
2 ppl just below trancendence realm , one injured and the other a glass cannon( mc is a glass cannon cuz he doesnt rly belong to that high lvl yet , he relying on his martial arts that he practiced for 2k yrs to keep up so he is most likely to get almost OKO if that doesnt happen then its plot armor) vs transcendence lvl master
like i said 1 realm = big gap
so it doesnt look good for the mc rn
