I don’t like the fact that he’s following the “happy wife happy life” dogma. What if she were to continue to express cold feet or eventual discontentment? What I fear here was shown by Oinomori, that 3-times-divorced woman (With her advice, it’s no wonder she couldn’t keep a man); “YOU are the one in control, so USE him” type attitude… and the fact that Takkun would probably go along with being extorted like that…
