1St Year Max Level Manager

Review after reading to Chapter 159… Good Lord, I have a lot to say about this one.

To start with, the criticisms of the artwork and the translation of chapter one are 100% accurate. In fact, if I hadn’t slogged through to Chapter 6, I would have missed out on one of my favorite reads here. It’s easier to tell you what NOT to expect with this story. The art is probably AI-driven, so don’t expect anything grand. It is NOT ecchi or has any fan service, so don’t look for that here. Nor does it have any superpowers, overpowered MCs, or immersive action scenes.

What it DOES have is an incredible story, with an amazing MC, wonderful side characters, and it is addictive… I mean, I binged this in three days while reading other things. It’s VERY Korean though. Which IMO is not a bad thing, but some of the sayings might not translate well.

This story is about a manager who regressed after dying unloved, unvisited, and betrayed by cancer in his life, to when he first took a job as an entertainment manager. It’s all about the corrupt entertainment industry and how he works behind the scenes to help good actors and musicians survive in this cutthroat industry. It’s amazing. Totally feel like this can be 1000-plus chapters and it won’t get repetitive. Let me just say, give it 20 chapters, and if you aren’t feeling it, it’s not gonna be something you’d like at 159. But it’s definitely worth giving it 20 chapters as a test IMO.
