god fricken damnit every time i see #fold misused drives me nuts. 2fold is x4 3fold is x8, it is a base 2 operation where it is 2^fold it is not simple multiplication why does no one get this. it is based on the number of folds you make on a piece of paper and then the thickness of the paper. so one fold is 2, twofold is 4, 3 fold is 8
