Damn these stories take way too much advantage over the idea of “evolution or adapting”.

It seems the common manga/Manhwa belief is that if you’re subjected to anything lomg enough it will stop being a disadvantage and will become your own power or advantage.

And it’s like that in most manga. But its funny because there’s an extreme contradiction with this idea, “be exposed to it long enough and it becomes your strength”

The contradiction is GIRLS. Our beta mcs never get used to being around females. If they can gain new abilities by enduring the pain, why cant they grow some balls and confidence by enduring being around, kissing, hugging etc girls?

Blatant contradiction and it exposes the agenda. They WONT let males be comfortable around females. And it aint because “japanese males are just like that” shut the F up thats bullshvt and you know it. Look at shoujo for one moment and you’ll see the male love interest is the exact opposite of shounen male mcs. They’re alpha, confident, rude but charasmatic.

But sure, japanese males are pathetic punt betas. …yet shoujo potrays the best qualities of masculinity while shounen potrays the worst and YOU’RE expected to “identify” and self insert as that loser, NOT the awesome chad love interest that girls sre attracted to in Shoujo.
