This was so mid. Follows all the tropes and plot mechanisms of other manga. Written probably for a very young audience. If you want to turn off your brain, the art is nice so flip through and enjoy that, but don’t expect good storytelling.

Genuinely one of the most confusing series’s to review.
I don’t really know how to describe it, the characters are so annoying. It started getting old at chapter 20. There is character development but HOLY FUCK, they’re still annoying. When the author makes you think we’re getting introduced to a new cast, we get the same characters but with different looks. I applaud the author on making some of the most annoying characters known to planet Earth. I JUST WANNA SMACK THESE BITCHES WHEN I SEE THEM TALKING.
I got a bit carried away with the rant above, now I’ll give my genuine review. It’s really meh to me. The characters are annoying, it would be fine if they’re annoying here and there but I swear some of these characters make me wanna go through the screen and give them a good ol’ punch. The story itself is alright, I guess you can label the MC as a “battle genius” but an idiot anywhere else. The first few battles were pretty entertaining, then you realize that pretty much nothing can handle the MC. If they can “beat” the MC, then the MC gets a power up from the gems he picked up in the beginning. It feels like it’ll keep following the same formula, I literally took a peek at chapter 100 and it seems like it’s still in the same arc where I dropped it off at, which I thought should’ve taken around 30 chapters max. Some chapters honestly feel like filler, YES, FUCKING FILLER! Example: MC’s fighting a person, random mob comes in, chapter ends, next chapter they kill the mob, chapter ends, next chapter, they start fighting again, I’ve quite literally never felt like a series has had a useless chapter, but this one made me think that for the first time. Sometimes it feels like they stuff an entire buffet sized part of the story inside of your mouth, other times they give you air with a side of air.
I genuinely don’t like this series. I can’t really tell you each exact reason for that, but I just don’t like it.

Good plot, story, and art. Doesnt revolve all around the mc getting more op than he already his, but also current events that are taking place in the world and his comrades.
The fights scenes are quite enjoyable. With the power he’s gotten, it makes him strong but not at the top. With every enemy he fights. He would always win which proves hes really strong but then meets even stronger opponets later. But overall, he is op with the protection of “The Plot” which gives him power ups everytime in a fight.
He’s your tyipical kind hearted manga mc who would accept favors from everyone expecting nothing in return. Having meeing someone for a few days in a forest, they’re already pals with one developing feelings for the other. its worth reading. Its better than most mangas ive read but def not the best. 7/10.
